STAY
AHEAD OF TIME
The IBH PA
LW is a high end CNC control from proven technology
on the latest PC-based platform. Windows XP
plus the IBH PA real time kernel build a base for a
system that covers the full range from simple 2-axis
machining to complex applications that include
5-axis simultaneous machining or multi-axis
machines. The PC-based architecture make this
system the most powerful and most flexible CNC
system on the market. |

For
best performance results, we use a digital, compact,
and cost effective servo drive solution that is
highly dynamic, precise, and efficient. Up to
three axes are possible in one housing to save space
in the control cabinet and achieve an optimal
price/performance ratio. To simplify wiring
and reduce failures from wiring, only one cable is
required to connect the CNC to the drive and to
connect one drive to the other drive. Various
configurations are available ranging from 5 to 20
amps. Integrated in each drive is a line
filter and inrush circuitry for protection, and an
internal regen resistor. |

The
servo motors are designed for the dynamic motion of
machine tools and have an extremely high power
density. The motors have 3-phase, 6-pole
winding and utilize Neodymium magnets (Nd-Fe-Bo).
Each standard motor has built in 2-pole resolver
feedback, IP64 protection, and a plain shaft.
Options include internal holding brake, keyway,
UL-version, protection class IP65/67, encoder
feedback. |

The PAMIO modules are
truly state of the art technology. The modules communicate
with the CNC via the PA-Superbus bus system. This is a
super-fast, real-time bus that communicates synchronously at max
100µs without any delay. That's 10-50 times faster than any of the
standard field buses commercially available! Bottom line is
the interface to your equipment is fast and reliable. Modules
can contain 24 inputs and 16 outputs, 4-axis encoder inputs and
command voltage outputs, or a combination of digital and analog
inputs and outputs. PAMIO modules can be plugged together, or
connected in series via a single Superbus cable up to 35m apart.
Each module simply snaps on a standard DIN rail and is
auto-configured by the CNC at power on for simple startup.

The IBH PA LW CNC retrofit system for ELCEDE,
Lasercomb, Lasercut, Data Technology, and compatible laser systems uses advanced laser control features
from a Windows XP PC-based CNC. This completely eliminates the individual feed override switches previously needed to regulate axes in different directions. It also eliminates the potentiometers for the laser focus height control (nozzle adjust). Finally, it gives the added capability of setting speeds and focus heights for individual axes in all axis directions for both two point and three point, but also custom adjustable cuts. In real-time, the CNC calculates proportionally the velocity along the path for both angle and curves. Simultaneously the height control parameters are used to auto focus the laser along the path. |
